ALE recognised for its strong commitment to CSR

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise earns a 2022 Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius.
Paris, France – November 25th, 2022 – Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, today announced that TrustRadius, the most trusted research and review platform, recognised Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise with a 2022 Tech Cares Award on October 5th. The third edition of this annual award celebrates companies that have gone above and beyond to provide impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes for their employees and surrounding communities.
“Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has earned a 2022 Tech Cares award for demonstrating a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility,” said Megan Headley, VP of Research at TrustRadius. “Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise exemplifies multiple aspects of CSR through their development of energy-conscious designs, participation in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) initiative, support for remote working policies, and their employee mentorship programme.”
To be accepted for the TrustRadius Tech Cares Award, each nominated organisation had to be a B2B technology company that demonstrated impactful CSR initiatives in one of the following categories; volunteerism, diversity, equity, and inclusion programmes, charitable donations and fundraising, support for in-office and remote employees, or environmental sustainability initiatives. Everyone was welcome to nominate an organisation for this award, including those who work for or with the company. All nominations were thoroughly vetted by the TrustRadius research team, and supporting proof was provided by the nominated.
ALE’s CSR projects include:
- #Together Employee Resource Group (ERG) supporting initiatives such as mentoring and the Oxford Women’s Leadership Development Programme
- ALE Impact, which encourages donations and fundraising for nominated charities Mercy Ships and Qhubeka
- Adapting the company workplace culture to support in-office and remote employees with hybrid work policies and the promotion of ALE’s culture and values
- Demonstrating continued support for environmental sustainability, through #GoGreen ERG and commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
